Kitchen Sinks

Stainless steel is the sturdiest choice for daily use and takes heat without marking; granite composite resists scratches better and hides small limescale stains, but it usually costs a bit more.

A single bowl gives you more room to wash large pots and pans; two bowls let you keep clean and dirty dishes apart, or soak on one side while rinsing on the other.

Measure the width, depth and existing worktop cut-out before buying; a top-mount sink needs to match the cut-out to the millimetre, while an under-mount sink allows a bit more leeway.
