Floor Tiles

In Tunisia, floor tiles generally range from 15 to 150 TND/m² depending on the material: around 15-40 TND/m² for floor ceramic, 35-80 TND/m² for mid-range porcelain stoneware, and 80-150 TND/m² for large-format or premium marble-effect porcelain. Prices exclude installation (budget 15-30 TND/m² for laying).

Measure the room's length and width in metres to get the m², then add about 10% for cutting waste and breakage — a bit more if you're laying diagonally or the room has many corners.

Outdoor tiles need to be slip-resistant (rated for wet conditions) and withstand frost and temperature swings; indoor tiles don't face that constraint and can have a smoother or glossier surface.

Larger formats (60x60cm and up) give a more spacious look with fewer grout lines, suited to bigger rooms; smaller formats stay practical for tight spaces or complex cuts.
